BGS Environmental was established due to our fast and effective working relationships with environmental and planning agencies, enabling us to offer our clients a quick and efficient turnaround for their drainage and water, planning and environmental issues. Our expertise lies in providing cost-effective solutions to address foul and stormwater drainage planning challenges, including foul and stormwater management design, pollution control, general binding rules and non-compliance management, environmental permit procurement, and flood risk activity permits within the construction and residential sectors.

Lee has been working in the drainage industry for 20yrs developing his knowledge in roles such as surveyor, regional management of a nation wide company and becoming Operations Director of Below Ground Solutions Ltd, one of the largest off mains drainage companies in the South-west. He co-founded BGS Environmental Ltd alongside his long-term colleague, Dan.
Throughout his career, Lee has built a strong network of contacts within the environmental sector, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory and environmental requirements with is essential for the construction sector. With extensive experience managing off-mains drainage projects across the South West of England and Wales, Lee is able to manage environmental pre-planning, design, and project implementation.
Lee’s deep knowledge of environmental permits and flood risk assessments ensures that his clients secure the necessary approvals efficiently—saving both time and money by avoiding costly delays.
